✅ SOLVED Is this part of an old mining tool?

I was metal detecting in a ghost town in Arizona and found this in a dry creek bed. It looks to be part of an old tool, possibly broken off and I've no clue what it is. Does anyone have any ideas?

Not a tool. It's a casting - probably from an old stove or stationary engine.
