It finally happened to me

My pickup bank was unable to get my box order filled on Thursday(sorry it wasn't something more exciting, what a tease of a thread topic). They of course blamed the carrier and promised the boxes would be in the next day... Do they not realize that I have 16 other boxes to pick up on Friday? That means I will be getting about 800 pounds of coins on Friday and will be carrying a huge wad of cash-

Hope the hernia will be worth it-

I don't know if you caught it in my big score post...but last week...3 different banks, of different branches...in different states, all forgot to order my boxes? when it rains it pores huh? lol

Maybe that means that the carriers are going to spend the time to grab the silver rich boxes to make up for it? Heck, it worked for you--- Big silver better be in my future!

I think that you should not blame the bank. Some people treat the banks and bank employees like dogs, they are people too, people do make mistakes...

I am not sure how many boxes / week you get per bank... Your response needs to be proof read.

I tend to get about 8 boxes per bank(sometimes less). I use a flat platform cart that I allow the tellers to use. This makes both of our jobs easier, and they are very appreciative of the cart. They often have to move coin boxes or bags without a cart....

I think he meant that when they forget to order his boxes, he's out of luck til the next week, unlike you that is getting them the next day. That's how I read it anyway.

I picked up a portion of my boxes(that are all from the same bank chain) and the box code has changed from the ones I had been getting the past month or so. I hate change... The last box codes seemed to produce. I guess I can believe that these will be better than the last, but I tend to stress out about it until I crack open the first box and find my first silver... Or I guess I should just be of the mentality that box codes ultimately may not mean much. Sometimes the same code can be full of skunks or full of silver----

My 3 boxes this week had the same code as a few weeks ago. Those 3 boxes yielded 1 - 40%, these 3 gave me 2 - 90% and 5 - 40%, with no skunks.

Not sure what to think of the box codes yet, my small sample size doesn't give me enough data.
