It happened! Aussie Gold! Found 2 Gold rings on Melbourne Beach

Went out a couple days ago to try out a beach here in Melbourne and came away with a few coins and a tiny silver ring , which I was actually pleased to just find anything.

Decided to use my brain the next day and check the tide . I ended up making it out there a couple hours before low tide and it paid off BIG!

Within the first 20-30 mins..I see some Shiny! and its my first 18k ring EVER!

All and all it was a great hunt...at least for me! I was able to find new coins that Ive never seen and feel like it was a successful hunt




I wasn't sure about the second Ring I found because it had black all over it, but it cleaned up pretty nice and I could see a very worn " 58" on it...so I'm hoping its the faint marking of "585"

Haha..Thanks Randy...You are 100% correct. I never touched dry sand and have been pulling coin after coin and so many goodies!

I just got back from my last hunt and found 10 20c coins in 1 freakin hole! and not to mention a 1954 Florin!


So far on this trip in just 3 beach hunts, Ive found Gold and Silver Jewelry tons of coins and something old! I hit all the desirables in such a short trip

I will spare the "daily" posts for every hunt and do a final wrap up....Unless I get something crazy awesome


And next time I travel to Anaheim ...Beer is on me
