Of course on Top here there is no Weather station.
So I don't believe for a second it's that high here.

Bummer. They say it may hit 60° here tomorrow and a artic blast is due in on Monday.

We've had snow on the ground for over two weeks now, and with the
temps hanging around freezing it's a sloppy, ice filled mess.

Gonna change though, as super cold temps on the way, and weather people
say we've got 10"-12" of snow coming in tonight.

Haven't had much of a winter in the past three years, but it looks like it's all
being made up for now.

Just an FYI...I hate snow. Some see it as fun stuff to play in, but for me that
slippery white trash that falls from the sky is just work.

We're having a heat wave here..... 22° at 10am. Will be back below 0 soon enough!

By the way, on that last blizzard, they called for 7"-14" of snow. We got probably 5"-5.5", and boy was it heavy! Had a lot of sleet mixed in with it. Fortunately, more snow than ice/water, so not slippery. That's the good part of being here!

It's gonna warm up even more. But still chilly. Christmas day I was wearing shorts and a tee. But I miss Jersey and Philly weather.

Supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow, then get chilly as the
temps will be dropping to single digits this time next week.

I was playing with the new Deus last Saturday, it had rained, and I fell flat on my face slipping in the mud. Dig through the snow!

Here in my town north of Denver it hit a high of 64° yesterday. It felt like it was 80° under our mile high sun. The lows are in the mid 20s. It's all down hill from there now and the artic air is on the way and due here by early next week. That's the way it is here. Up & Down all winter long.

Sad to say it but your doom and gloom post this time of year are funny only because i know you.

As I sat here reading this thread we just got put under a tornado warning! It is 10pm January 2, 2017.The rain is really starting to come down. I am getting off the computer now. If I don't come back on you will know why!!

no snow here this winter, maybe in a few days

It will be too cold to dig by this Saturday.

Well, I can't copy and paste the kind of winter we're having here, but this old Texan-in-MN has a link that ya'll might like. If you read the link, you'll understand why I can't paste it here. Especially with this being JEFF'S thread!! :tongue3: :laughing7:

Texan

We're currently getting another 6" of the white stuff, and that's on top of 3" or so from yesterday. By tomorrow, we'll be lucky to see the high's hit 0°F over the next week!

I dearly LOVE winter, but this year there's just too much of the white stuff. Then add to that, there wasn't much of a Fall. Seemed everything went from Summer straight into this white madness! ...And NO!!, I'm not going outside to get you a picture!! :BangHead:

It got too cold for Tippy, my cat to go to the bathroom outside, so, now she has to use her box. Her poop does not smell.
