I ordered a couple of JFK boxes to this out of town bank that I thought I would be returning to in a few weeks. Well 6 weeks pass by! I drop in and politely ask do you still have the box for me?? Figuring it was gone. She said well yes I have both boxes for you! ( I totally forgot it was two!) I paid for one and said I would be back for the second in a couple of hours. She also mentions she has a bunch of customer hand rolls. So I made sure I returned with plenty of cash. Upon returning I happen to have a few big bags of popcorn a friend just gave me in the car so I decide to bring one in as a token of good gesture to this cute young Soul-Sister teller!
I happen to peek in the small vault behind the tellers and notice 5 loose rolls of halves on the shelf. I said I would gladly take those also. She says oh no, those are mine. As she gathers up about 85 bucks worth of loose change along with my 2nd box of JFK's. She mentions that She can always order more boxes for herself, and that she is willing to part with the 5 rolls. I was very great full!
Well I just finished one box that produced only 3 40% along with a dozen un-circulated later coins. But the five rolls she sold me produced 3 VG coins a 90% 64; a 40% 68; and the third Silver was a sweet Ben Franklin! I honestly believe that small token gesture won her over and compelled her to give up her few rolls! I will let you know how the 2nd box turns out!
