Hey everyone we all have these kinda days but still a blast and happy to be just getting out .
Lots of wheats , a lesney car ,1939 dog tag, than I got a really nice 15 on the equinox . Not a fan of 15 but I try to dig a few out pops a gold ring!!! Hmmmm get home and it is 14kt gold shell. Get a banging 32-33. Out pops a half dollar !!! Hmmmmm get it cleaned off 1971 first year clad yep I was that close lol on a good note I did kind my stone for my 1950 sky king ring

Are you sure 1971 was the first year for clad coins? I remember when they were introduced in 1965. We all thought our coins were now worthless and it would be the end of the country! Luckily, we were wrong.

Are you sure 1971 was the first year for clad coins? I remember when they were introduced in 1965. We all thought our coins were now worthless and it would be the end of the country! Luckily, we were wrong.

The half?s were a little different , dimes and quarters went clad in 1965. Kennedy half?s went from 90 percent silver in 1964 to 40 percent 1965-1970
