It was nice to swing the coil again...and the silver was poppin' out.

First off ...I want to thank each and every one of you who gave my family your thoughts and sympathy over the last many weeks. :angel11: Many of you did it by responding to my posts...some of you pm'd me...etc. Trust me...I don't forget things like that... and I truly appreciate it. It has been a very difficult time for us...but I know my dear mom is now in a better place and that God will take care of her until I get to see her again. :angel7: Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

After everything had settled down Monday evening...it all hit home ??? ...and I realized I needed to keep my head above water. I put on the headphones and ventured a few miles away to a pounded park that always seems to give up a few keepers.

After 2 hours or so..darkness set in...but I didn't even care. :tongue3: I had 3 silvers at this point along with a handful of wheaties....and an injun. ;D
I kept on going for another 2 hours or so and added one more merc (1919s)....a beat up sterling ring...and one more injun. The shallowest coin was one of the wheaties at 6". All the other coins were 7" to as deep as 10". At about 9 P.M. my shoulder decided that I needed to quit for the evening. ;D That's okay 'cause I planned on staying with my dad for the night so he didn't have to be alone. :angel11: I planned on pounding the park again in the morning.

Tuesday I woke up early..well actually I don't think I even slept because of stress ??? ...but I got up anyway. I planned on mowing my parents yard all afternoon to lighten the load on my dad ...but the morning was set aside for some deep silver hunting at the park again.

Off I went for another 5 hours...and again I found some deepies.
My first find was a 2 coin silver pocket spill...TWO 1918 mercs in the same hole. :headbang: Yippee!
Continued on and popped out a THIRD 1918 merc from 9" down that had a rusty nail right accross the back of it...as I showed in the pic. :hello2: In fact...the SE was in a complete null for more than 10 seconds through this iron infested spot...but it had no problem peeping out the silver chirp right through the silence. I have made most of my best deep silver finds over the last couple of years..right in the middle of a null..so no matter what anybody says....it does happen ...and I have proven it to myself over and over. I just slow down to a complete crawl..and wait for the SE to let me know if there might be a coin hiding in the iron mess...and if there is...the SE will peep silver right through the silence.

Continued on for a couple more hours and popped out 2 more mercs......2 more injuns...and another big handful of wheaties.
I only cleaned two of the injuns...and they look sweet...so I will clean the other 2 as soon as I get time.
The total take from a 4 hour night hunt...and another 5 hours the next morning at this park......24 wheaties....4 injuns...8 mercs...1 Roosie...and a beat up sterling ring.
Thank you all for viewing my post ...and again...thanks to those of you who kept my family in your thoughts through everything. :angel7: It meant a lot to me at a very difficult time....and I do not forget stuff like that...so thank you all  :angel7:

Bryce Dude, you king of the park hunter, :icon_salut:

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. You made your mom proud of you in everyday life and in this great hobby of treasure hunting.

It's good to see that you're yanking out the wilvers and Injuns in true Bryce Dude fashion. You are one heck of a great hunter, buddy, and I'm sure there will be many more in your future!

Sorry for your loss Bryce, I am sure you will be hurting for a while and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts. MD'ing is a great way to take your thoughts away a little bit. Great finds and you know you have a big family here supporting you as well.

Bryce,

What would you and I do if we couldn't detect? :icon_scratch: It's helped the both of us in so many ways!!

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

You have a great mentality, splitting your time up to take care of yourself and your family.
Your finds are quite amazing, once again. :o Your repeated success shows you have a set of skills the average md'er will never attain. Keep doing what you love to do, my friend, and let the stress melt away in the turf.

Congrats on two fine hunts!

Those are excellent finds, but one of the perks of detecting is that you can be alone with your thoughts. Sorry to hear of your loss.

Our thoughts are with you Bryce. Glad to see you took some time to swing the coil. I'm sure it was a much needed distraction for you. Beautiful coinage... 8)

Very nice ladies you dug up. That siler is sweeeeet. Not as sweet as a mom though. After 15 years I still think of her and expect to see her coming around the corner at home.

God Bless Bryce

Your right about your mom, she has progressed further into a place we can only imagine. I lost a lot of people friends, family, pets even my sister. I like to look at it now as a moving forward beyond what we can imagine. So to do this is a great blessing.... Aye they will be missed but to know they are above at peace and their soul is moving forward its warming. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, Godbless.

As for the finds, awesome finds that is a ton of silver. Some nice copper too, I wish our parks could produce that kind of silver and copper. Our parks are way over hunted, every other person seems to have a machine around here.

Good Job !!
Keep @ it and HH!!

Bryce my man , It's good to see that you are out and getting on with your life. You know that your mom is Very happy where she is and is smiling down on you. You honor your moms memory by doing what you do best and enjoy yourself rather than dwell totally on the negative side. You are a great friend to us all here on treasure net and we all love this hobby enough to look out for each other. Great job with the silver dude. It's what you specialize in .Congrats.

Hey, man, I am sorry to hear about your loss. At times like these, staying close to family is healing within itself.

As far as your finds, well, do I have to say it? You are a true pro! :) You and Dan never cease to amaze me with your park hunting skills!

Bryce, your Mom is looking down upon you everytime you put on the headphones. You will have better days ahead my man. But it looks like your finds are jumping into the keeper bag. WTG.. Keep the spirit alive brother. Jgas
