I've been needing to upgrade my detector. I am currently swinging a Bounty Hunter. It got me started last year and now my 8yo son wants one. So what does a good dad do? He orders a Minelab Xterra 305 for himself and passes the bounty hunter down to his son . I just ordered this morning now just have to wait a patiently as I can.

As your son will soon want a detector like dad's, your going to have to save to upgrade him too.

It is great keeping metal detecting the family, I am sure you will build memories that will last a lifetime.
My 2 boys are my detecting buddies who like to dig the targets. I trade off with my original detector and my up-grade one. Have fun friend.
