It's begining to look a lot like spring

Hello

Michigan is starting to unfreeze and i decided to brave the wind and the cold and the mud. I went out to a field I got permission for to check it out. It was a pretty miserable time. My boots got stuck in the mud in every step and I lost a plastic piece off my detector (i have an extra). After all my misery, I walked away with a cool 11 cents. . Well, I got home and went over to my neighbor's yard where I found three wheats. I walked away with a little clad and a 1926 wheaty that cleaned up well, an old buckle, and some sort of steam valve with a patent date of 1907. Well, I hope the beach isn't as muddy and the finds a little less

bah! I was told today was the first day of spring....ran to the window and saw snow on my pickup!! Was trying to snow again a lil while ago! Spring has not sprung yet here! Glad to see you got out and found some goodies though!! Hopefully soon it will act like spring and we will all be out finding goodies!!

Glad you got out..I like the early dates on your finds, lots of history where you're diggin'.

I can't wait for you all up north to thaw out, I miss seeing and hearing about your finds..different geographical areas give up lots of treasure we don't see here.

The calender may say its spring but i don't think mother nature uses it. She doe's her on thing. Nice to see you got out anyway.HH
