"It's hard to tie string on these worms"
Back at the silver farm this morning, where I knew it would be hard to top yesterday (10K...stampede). I was pulling in clad quickly, almost a buck and a half, and for the longest time it looked like my only silver would be this 1945 Canadian dime. Now I have to add a new category of silver down below. At one point, my daughter discovered some string and decided she wanted to fish. The farm is, after all, right by a big creek and we've found dozens of sinkers. So, not only was I searching each hole for a target, the kids were plucking earthworms and grubs as bait. I had to laugh to myself when I overheard my daughter telling her brother "It's hard to tie string on these worms!" I noticed that they didn't catch any fish; I managed a Rosey, a few common wheats and plenty of clad along with the Canadian silver.
