Decided to hit a site I found about a year ago and beat up pretty good with my G2. Hoping the new T2 SE might find a few that I missed or items a little to deep for the G2. Some unusually deep stuff in this site. Got there and pretty grown up still. Instead of cutting it for hay again the land owner had put in some goats to clean around some rough areas. I had been checking it and was hoping they had grazed long enough to make it huntable. Hunted about an hour and got a flat button and a copper tag and the usual shotgun hull etc. Got home and noticed a little guilt showing on the button so heated some peroxide and threw them in and TADA. Guess who will be cleaning lots of flat buttons. Have dug dozens out of the site and will admit I stopped cleaning them all.

Wow ....... just saw one another member found while doing a search.

Wow, pretty cool! Awesome find. The ones I find say extra rich

Vonclemen29,
Like I said above I have more of them to clean than I care to admit. Found so many in this site that I just quit. I have found some that said the same as yours as well as.... STRONG, TRIPPLE GILT, LONDON, COLOUR, etc.
Pics from the first few hours in the site. Found quiet a few buttons etc. since. Not a single coin yet.

Very nice! Congrats. :occasion14:

Great button! I heard a whisper on the wind that you found a nice one. The peroxide is doing very good. I also heard that alum jelly does well. You have a nice collection to display if you do the historical society showing.

Mackaydon,

I have got to get the button book. You amaze me with your ID's and ability to find info on about anything.
