Jed Clampetts?

Aquired this today for moving a couple of rather large wood working tools and i haven`t a clue as to what it`s worth, age or point of origin.
Maybe Jed used it to hunt with?

I have one very similar to this that I brought back from Afghanistan. Mine has what is called a Snider conversion which is where the rifle was changed from a percussion cap ignition to being fired by a blackpowder cartridge. It appears from your pictures that yours is the same or very similar.
