Looks like some more good results, esp box 1. You seem to find a lot of proofs too. I haven't done too well with nickels lately. I've only found one dateless buffalo from my last $350 which is kinda unusual for me. Good luck the rest of the month.

Picked up 3 bags this week. Results were less than thrilling, but at least I wasn't totally skunked! Bag #2 was especially bad!

Made my normal bi-weekly run yesterday. Ended up with 3 boxes of halves, a box of dimes, 2 boxes of nickels, $10 cwr halves, $10 cwr quarters, $10 cwr dimes and $2 cwr nickels. I've already been through everything except the nickels and the results? SKUNKED! I'm hoping the nickels give up some good stuff!

They haven't been producing as well l for me lately either. Finished my two boxes...SKUNKED!

Too bad about the nickel skunk boxes but at least finding that '54 S/D recently was a nice pay off for saving your pre - '60's. Btw, Im still searching some half boxes I bought yesterday and man most of these coins are nasty and covered with greenish mildew and corrosion, but Im finding a little silver at least so I can't complain.

That's it! I can't take it anymore! Time to get back to hunting. Gonna make a run after work today and try to hit 6 or 8 banks and see what I can come up with. Surprising how much I've missed looking at coins!

So I'm back at it. Made rounds the last 2 Fridays and have had some good results with the most coming from yesterday. The first week I picked up 2 boxes of nickels, $330 in halves and about $50 in mixed CWR. Found 1 war nickel in the 2 boxes. I visited one of the banks that used to order boxes for me (and is now) I know the head teller there checks halves for silver, but when I asked if she happened to have any old nickels in her tray she pulled out a war and couple pre-60s for me!

This past Friday I picked up 2 boxes and a bag of nickels, $450 in halves and another $50 or so in mixed CWR. Went through the bag first and came up with 1 war nickel. Skunked on the halves. The first box gave up 1 war nickel. The 2nd box was a good one, giving up my 2nd ever V Nickel and 2 war nickels!

Yesterday I was at my dump bank and asked if they had any half dollars they wanted to get rid of. One teller said "Yes! Please take them all!" I wish she had more, but I managed to get 10 40%ers from her! That's my biggest silver tray score.

So I'm really happy to be back in it and hoping to have more good results.
