Family Releases Song He Wrote Over 30 Years Ago
The family of one of the Jordan Brothers, who passed away earlier this year, released a song written over 30 years ago.
Starting back in the 1950's, the Jordan Brothers, Joe, Frank, Bob, and Lew, began rocking the airwaves with their song "Gimme Some Lovin"
and "Heart"
and playing venues in Schuylkill County, PA and Philadelphia area.
The brothers from Frackville played together for over 30 years before officially "breaking up" in 1984.
Here in Schuylkill County, their music lived on and in 2015, they were recognized with a Legacy Room at the Frackville Historical Society.
Since their break-up, they all remained involved in music but sadly Bob passed away in 1993, Joe passed away in January of 2021, and almost a year later Lew passed away on January 3rd, 2022.
Lew's daughter, Kristie Antalosky, recently reached out to Skook News for some help.
Six months after her father's passing, a Celebration of Life was held to honor Lew.
As part of the service, Lew's family released a song called "Dedicated Music Man"
