Junior Fire Chief badge age?

[oddcoins]

Hello!

Anyone know anything about this Junior Fire Chief badge? age? where it's from, etc? Any info would be GREAT!

It's about 1.5 inches wide, and about 1.66 inches tall. I assume there use to be a pin on the back side ~ but it's gone now.

Can we see the back anyway?

Does it look like this toy?

I've never seen a metal one. I can only remember plastic ones even as a kid. That's pretty cool.

I cant find this particular one but it has the same eagle and center as some official badges. http://www.ilovelbny.com/LBPD.html

It looks like stamped brass and was probably nickle plated.. Heres a cool pic and story of how these badges may have been handed out to children. http://www.etsy.com/listing/57020490/a-lot-of-6-vintage-junior-fire-marshal

It looks like it may be from the 50's or 60's!
