Jusst found this weekend - any thoughts on material?

I found this knife or point this weekend while metal detecting in a field that had just been plowed. The material is a little unusual, at least to me. Any thoughts?

Looks like chalcedony. Sometimes forms in chert deposits when silica content is higher in one pocket/area/section.
