This is a shout-out for Jim D in MN so he doesn't have to wait til we get together again to see these. I got out Sunday afternoon to my usual park and hit an area we'd avoided due to the large amount of trash and campfire slag that'd been dropped there. the first hit was the Merc and two wheats from the same drop. Then came the '53 Roosevelt. Finally, the last target was a Standing Liberty quarter with...wait for it... A DISCERNIBLE DATE! Granted, if it had been in circulation for another 3 weeks before being dropped I probably couldn't make that claim. Thank goodness it was a '25 with a recessed date rather than an earlier issue. Even as slick as it is I'll take what I can get. Good luck and good hits!
