no, that has been worked, I have one like it...some sort of spoke shave
 

Probably just a rock. It's not flaked to do anything. This might be something they started on to make a knife or spoke shave and discarded.
 

It shows work even if its a preform its still a artifact. Altered by a persons hand.

Well.. it definitely is worked.. I doubt it was worked for no reason..it looks like it would work as a spokeshave..that's what I would call it.

thats a drill, i found 2 and took them to a university for more info like everything i find in question, heres the pics small arrow just in pic, brown one heavily used white one not as much 016.webp
 

Wow, where did you find yours, and what period did they say they were from? This is so badadze!!!
 

I'll clarify. It appears to be some work, but not worked to completion. It could be a quick tool knocked off in the field for the task at hand then discarded.
 

i find my stuff on private land in new mexico dude said they were realy old that was his scientific opinion

I believe you are correct. I find them that way quite often, only secondary on the edges. Like they broke it with another rock and then did the fine flaking on the edges.
