Detector(s) used
Teknetics Delta 4000
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
Amazon offers that same machine at $279, so by adding taxes you're pretty darn close.

Looked up the Delta 4000, and from what I read it appears to be a decent
detector, and you'll no doubt be finding many coins and other goodies
real soon!

Thanks. I spent alot of time reading about different brands. Finally, I said I've had enough and not exactly sure what I'm looking for, so I'm just gonna do it.

Download the owner`s manual and read it a lot of times before the machine gets there....might help.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely do that. I am a Geospatial Analyst by trade, so I've been comparing old maps (Topo and land plat) and aerial photos to current imagery, plus been reading some old books covering the history of my the county I live in. I've identified several places I want to hit, so reading the owner's manual will speed the process of getting out there and actually finding something interesting.
