They are unusual to me. The person who owned my property about 100 years ago was a collector and had constructed a type of stone wall on the property made of petrified wood, quartz, jasper and many others. We had to tear it down when we had our septic system replaced last year. At the end of the wall I have found some natural stones that, to someone who is creative and imaginative, might find interesting. They are all found in one specific area, as if they could have been intended to be an addition to this stone wall, but forgotten and covered over. I was told that they had traveled to other countries and would bring back rocks for their collection. This is also an area in the Puget Sound where the early settlers came to harvest shellfish. We have a freshwater stream on our property that connects with the saltwater and rises with the tide. When we had the excavation done, members of the local Indian reservation had to approve before digging could begin because of their history with the area. Therefore, it would not be unheard of to actually come across something used long ago. I am not an expert by any means, that's why I use this site for asking opinions from others. Thank you for looking at my pictures and providing input. Maybe one of these times I will find something that is actually "real".
