keene recirculating sluice box

hello fellow prospector. i have a question. i want to mount this 12volt high volume water pump under my sluice... will the vibration of the pump during operation negatively effect the sluice? or will it aid in the settling of the gold?

I'm not sure for A Keene with miners moss or black matting, but speaking for my drop riffle sluices, vibrations are welcom as it helps with gold settling through the heavies to the bottom. Much like stratisfying in a gold pan, but obviously a much smaller scale.

I wouldn't mount it, you may have to move pump to set up sluice in lower water or you may want to use pump and hose to do a clean out of the sluice after prospecting.

i bought a 10' stick of scedual 40 pipe so i have extra incase. i am making it so the pipes screw together for breakdown. im trying to implement a 1' peace of hose with clamps somewhere near the pump in order to connect the pump. the pump outlet is at a screwy angle.
