found this very small arrowhead shaped piece of brass, only has patent on it . could it be a piece of a clock hand?

This is a broken off padlock keyhole cover.

I thought keyhole cover also but couldnt find one like it , was hoping somebody had a pic of one.

Its not the same shape but mine does have the same mark.
