Lake gold and silver rings along with a Merc!

I loaded up the boat and hit my lake spot solo today, wanted to beat the heat. Not too far into the hunt I was chasing a 77 VDI with my Deus out pops this beauty. A 14 K gold ring, The stone looks like my wife's birthstone, she laid claim to that one. I had already found the 1941 D Merc, notice the way one side was tarnished and the other was not. I've had Barbers come out of the bottom of this lake looking brand new. Later on I was chasing a nice sounding 80 VDI. It kept falling through my scoop so I went under with my carrot and pulled this pretty Uncus kiddiegem ring.

Judging by what I have found in the past at this site, and what I know about this site, I'd say early 40's maybe late 1800's. I'll see what the jeweler says. Thanks bud, it was a good day to have been in the water, very HOT out.

I have some really great colonial sites, farm fields, I usually dig everything but in a couple it is virtually impossible. I'd love to find some colonial gold. I found one gold ring at this same lake that had w-w-w marked on it I believe that was 1800's gold. Thanks for your reply

I've been over this spot a hundred times in the last four years, gold likes to hide. I found this other beauty close by, but in 8ft of water using my hookamax
