These two large reed plates were dug near the smaller harmonica? plate.
Any idea what intsrtument they were for? I looked through various accordian and harmonica plates but can't find match.
They're trapazoids, tapering narrower on one end. Not an even rectangle.
Melodica?

Funny, I was just coming to the site to ask the same question and saw your post. This one is much thicker than a traditional harmonica reed that I find. Thanks for your post and for the responses!
