🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Large reed plates? For what instrument?

These two large reed plates were dug near the smaller harmonica? plate.
Any idea what intsrtument they were for? I looked through various accordian and harmonica plates but can't find match.
They're trapazoids, tapering narrower on one end. Not an even rectangle.

I suspect they were from a large harmonica; some of them were really that big. Another possibility would be a harpischord or small accordion.

Yeah large harmonica reeds as VaGent points out.. They are ubiquitous at mid 1800 to early 1900 sites.

Funny, I was just coming to the site to ask the same question and saw your post. This one is much thicker than a traditional harmonica reed that I find. Thanks for your post and for the responses!
