Got out last night for a couple hours and managed $1.42 in clad and zincolns, 7 Wheaties, and 2 silvers a 1957 quarter and a 1940-S dime. Also got a six flags token and a vaccine bottle. That brings me up to 64 silver coins for the year, need one more to tie last years total of 65. Also got reminded of one of the dangers of detecting at night, I got a signal and knelt down to dig and immediately felt a burning pain in my arm then about a second later I felt one in my back. I turned on my headlamp and saw some kind of bugs flying around, then I saw it, I was digging about a foot away from the entrance to a yellow jackets nest and they weren't to happy about me being there. Ended up getting hit 5 times, needless to say I didn't stick around to dig up whatever my detector hit on there!!
