when the casinos first opened there machines that only took half dollars. i have thought about asking a casino if they had any half dollars they could sell me

I've tried this. There are three indian casinos in a twenty mile radius from my house and all of them use half dollars at the tables. I have seen mountains of half dollar boxes In the cage cashier, all of which were fresh and unopened. I've asked multiple times if I could buy a box or two, but they always shut me down.
