Well, the smoke from the Dixie fire (over 100k acres so far) is keeping the tourists off the beaches, so more peaceful hunting but less people losing stuff. I think I like the peacefulness. Anyway, the best hits from the day were a little sterling ring, a cool CA state parks token, $3.08 in clad and various random stuff, including;
a couple of rubber oar drip-stoppers
a very heavy plated copper earring
5 freshly fired rounds of 9mm (I won't be hunting this beach after hours)
a Western Super-X 12g head stamp
a die cast super hero
and some hardware
Not shown was the enormous pile of bottle caps and pull tabs.
I've notice that since I've been posting my Tahoe finds on here that the md'ing here has greatly increased. If somebody was inspired by my posts to hit Tahoe, at least post your finds on here so we can all enjoy them!
