Today was laundry day. The park that I usually hunt had a ball game going on so no detecting there. I decided to go down along the river and try my luck there. The find of the day was this Pennsylvania Railroad lock, my third one like this. I also added two lead seals. The one has a clear 1898 date on it. I found some other metal junk and no coins. I really hate doing laundry but going detecting while the machines work makes it a little easier! Thanks for looking! DD.

That lock is very interesting looking, congrats! :icon_thumright:

Cool finds Dave :o . . . for laundry day! :laughing7:
Are the seals collectable?

I bet the corrosion on the lock will clean up nicely! :icon_thumright:

Good finds. I really think the seals are more valuable and rare than the lock. To find them in such a short time is even more impressive. :icon_thumleft:
