Re: Someone's "2 cents from 1864"

Way to go  I've been hunting for three years now. When I first started in this hobby, I found a very old park. Went there once or twice and found some jewelry. The third or fourth time I went was with my girlfriend. I took my detector (MXT 300) out of the truck and went by some picnic tables. Turned on the machine to ground balance and got a nice signal at the same time. Said "what the heck" and dug it. Out popped a two cent piece just like yours. From maybe 2 inches - tops. That was my first "old" coin. Once again, super find :headbang:

Nice patina. Just like saying that word out loud, pa-tee-na.
Kudos.
