Let's see how many laws we can get repealed before the grand finale on 12/21/12

My vote goes for:

You must come to a complete stop when a school bus is stopped with its flashing red light.

What where they thinking when they came up with this loser If a child didn't learn to cross the street properly before he was sent off to school, he doesn't have the right to procreate later on in life

I grow up in the city, didn't have buses to get me to school, we walked, or took public transportation. Besides, getting hit by a car at an early age would toughen you up and teach you a good lesson if you survived.

What do you have for me There must be something you want repealed

I think Arkansas has one on the books, in regards to, what people can do or not do, behind closed doors, in their own home. (ya'll get my drift?).

Any law that does not have a victum or even serious endangerment to another person or their property. End war on some drugs, especially cannabis ("marijuana") which hasn't been proven to be direct cause of death of even 1 person in about 10,000 years of use by over 1 billion people & has over 120 medical uses anecdotally, about half backed up by studies.

Think about this, please: If a person is dead, or too disabled to function, what could matter as much, let alone more? Does anyone really think sick people should have doors rammed down at 5:30am by SWAT team & be hauled off to prison as an enemy of the state, because they wanted to stay alive? Here in France, they don't have ANY 20 mile an hour school zones. Stop for a school bus? LOL!

I totally agree with you that kids need to learn to stay off of the streets, use crosswalks, and don't just cross in front of a bus in a blind area where on coming cars can't see you!

I don't like much about France... but the lack of school zones and school buses that stop all the traffic for the safety - er convenience - of kids IS one of them!

THAT being said. I think we need a limit on laws. Let's say 50,000 federal laws, 40,000 state laws and 10,000 city laws. 100,000 TOTAL laws. PERIOD. Want to enact a new law? REPEAL ONE!

I have said for a long time, we continue to hire "law makers" it's time to hire "law repealers"! You should not need an army of attorneys and accountants to stay out of jail! (oh wait - prisons are a growth industry! )

Personally I Only see 4 Laws we need at this time

1. you kill someone on purpose, Go to jail.
do not Pass go, Do not collect $200.00

2. You hurt someone Physically, on purpose.
(This covers Rape, Assault, Pedephelia, etc)
go to Jail

3. You steal from someone Go to Jail

4. You try to make another Law in a free Country,
Go to Jail !
