lead artifact/galena?

I found this a while back on one of the best sites I ever hunted.
I've been trying to research this on and off without much headway.
The photos don't show much detail and I'm hesitant to clean it any further.
I belive it is a pendant with the loop broken.
Has anyone seen anything like this?







This site had artifacts from early archaic all the way through contact including worked glass arrowheads and Spanish coins dating to the early 1600's

I think it looks like two fish converging on the center round thingy lol but the bottom fish is missing its tail. It's what my eyes are seeing

I'm not going to wind up getting a vacation from treasurenet because you feel like having fun at my expense... maybe I should have said Midwest.. you're splitting hairs that have nothing to do with the subject of this thread.
If any of you would care to please look at kokopeli on Wikipedia and click on origins and development.
The last paragraph speaks of an eastern version that is a humpback woman from the Mississippian culture.. this was found right next to a spring...just inland from a Spanish shipwreck .

In gatorboys defense..it is no surprise that the natives used lead to make complex jewelry ( see picture).Based on the layers he found it in, I believe it is definitely native made. Perhaps it has been damaged, thrown out, or missing a portion but my gut instinct is with gator boy on this one.

this object reminds me of Kokopeli the way a kangaroo reminds me of a deer. Similar attributes but not the same thing. Besides since you seem to be loosely connecting this to "a silver pendant recovered from a Spanish 1715 shipwreck a short distance from there. See the loop on top." ....why would the Spanish be trading in Kokopeli pendants?
