First Off, Thank you folks from the bottom of my heart. I love this hobby it is my true passion, and the people that know me will tell ya. I love this forum above all other forums out there. We have some of the best hunters and collectors out there on this site. So if your new or not, you can always learn something from these folks. ( I learn something everytime I get on here)
Ok here is whats going on. On a personal leval, My son Dalton is due anytime, I am also working 7 days a week. I've been kinda crabby lately. So Thats part of it
The other part of it is.......... I wish T-net would give me a little more power.... If I get 8 emails from you folks nominating something for a banner.... I would like to have my input considered.I think someone hit it on the head, we are getting us some banners, but we are leaving out a lot of our members that deserve one also. That really bothers me sometimes. Mods dont get paid, or even offered a charter membership. I am definatly not in it for the money anyway. I enjoy helping folks, and hold high opinions of the others I see on here helping the new folks. Its to much for one person to handle.
I will work on my personal issues, and I hope me an T-net can come the middle of the road on some issues that I think are very important to us all.

John,

I wish you the best and hope I'll bump into you at a show sometime. I've been very impressed by your finds, but more importantly how you conduct yourself on the forum.

One of the things I did notice when I came over to this forum is that American Indian Artifacts section is one of the highest posting sections on the entire forum. There are a couple of general categories that beat us in total number of posts (Today's Finds, What is it?), and the metal detecting category does pretty well, but this section holds it own in the top 5. That's a compliment to the members and moderators. I'd certainly like to see more items from our category get up on the banner section, even if that means they only stay up for a week or so.

Thank you for letting us know what is going on. When you posted this thread, I felt I had lost a friend. I can understand why you would want to leave as a mod., but if you do, please start a new membership and keep posting those awesome artifacts you're finding. I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of Dalton on this website. If you want to go away as a mod. that's fine, but come back as the friend we all know. :)

Crabby aint bad. We all get that way sometimes. It'll pass, I promise.

Good luck my friend.
