Hoping that someone knows about these. According to red book, it is rare. I have no way of knowing if real or not, and a legitimate value on it. I would greatly appreciate any insight.

VERY rare. The only way to be certain it is real is to submit it for slabbing to one of the service. (PNGS). It looks good to me. I actually visited the site where he made them.
