Lmao!!when i first started looking at this thread i was thinking who the hell are all these dudes and look at all the killer relics.i need to do some diggin in the archives.hey 37,what do you think of those personal finds norcal posted, the mostly obsidian frame?heres a nice ridge piece for some color.the pic does this piece no justice.

Nice piece Greg, sweet piece o' the ridge. I think most obsidian is pretty scary to tell you the truth. Mostly because it doesn't patinate ( if that's a word) like most materials, and modern knappers love working with it. I'd have to hold them in hand and put them under a scope to be certain. My gut feeling is too good to be true, mostly because of the pristine condition they're in. If authentic it's the nicest frame of obsidian I've ever seen by far. What's your opinion on that frame.

Few more colorful artifacts.

my opinion is much the same as yours, there are alot of the same type pieces in that frame and all of them look to have been made by the same knapper and material.i would have to see the hinge fractures under a scope to be sold on them.some killer ridge dude.i like them blades in your hand. :headbang:

The woodland point is a personal find, the dove was purchased (my favorite piece of flint). Both are made from Sonora Flint.
