Did your field dry out enough to hunt again?

I believe my field is history. It was planted in grass seed, was barely coming up then under water for over a week. No attempts to plow, too many other things that have to be tended to around the farm.

That picture didn't show the color very well on that piece because it is actually a shiny black flint called Zaleski Flint. Here's a little bit better picture to see the true color.

Really cool shelter too went back about 15 ft and I'm pretty sure I was the first person in a long time to be inside it! Only went the one time and have been anxious to get back up there as I'm back in fla now! There were smaller shelters all over that area that I took pics of but didn't search for lack of time!!

Wow! Thanks for picking this back up Gator...I love the in situ photos....it really makes me feel like I found the artifact too! I'll add to the fun too. My favorite is the first one because it was the first time I had enough restraint to take a photo before reaching down!
