Man, this is some great motivation to get out there and look. I never have the restraint to take a picture, I pick it up like it's the last bite of steak in a room full of hungry dogs.

Here are a few from south Georgia. The red Savannah river was in a deer track.

I be lovin' this thread. There are some really great pictures and points here.

Found this one walking through the woods of all places. There was a slight drop in elevation along this path that had washed after heavy rains. Never expected it to amount to much, but decided to take some pictures just in case and I'm glad I did now.

Well,.Sometimes ?
Great thread here Birdpoitgriswold ,. always like a nice insitu ,. and these are the best . those "inset" w/insitu ,..well, a class act there Th3rty !!
I've always liked the "through-water" insitu's ,.. even a canoe ,. that's over the top !!
And yes there Mr. Reaper,. hard too pick just one ,. you've taken many really good insitu's over the years,. but I'll give it a shot. Hmmmm,.. some really great shots of some fine points ,. even a Clovis ,..the elbow pipe ,just lay'n atop a mount of earth ..GREAT PIC !! And there's that old blue axe,. hmmm,. doesn't really present it's itself well in that rough Ohio plow,. was my first "vote for Banner " some years ago ,.maybe it's not all about the pic ,. but the subject ,that moment ,. axe it is !! it was a Great find !
Years ago, way before there where digital cameras , I would rarely take one on a hunt , real shame ,. so many good insitu's lost .Today, even the phones can take some fine pic's ,. I now always carry a small camera in the truck ,.never know when or where that next insitu going to be .
I'll post as my fav. insitu ,.taken last Sunday ,.its of a white quartz cottonwood apx. 1 in. long
thanks for sharing Blindpig
