Punch a small hole along the rim of a Frisbee, ... install a belt lanyard. When you dig your target, put the soil in the Frisbee, ... all dirt is now captured for a complete hole refill.

Good idea. Won't blow away like a towel or sandbag like I use. I'd recommend cutting a 3" gap in the rim, opposite the lanyard hole to allow the soil to slide/funnel out easier.
