Lincoln Cents: Keep the 1982's, or throw them back?

I've gotten addicted to CHR with halves, dimes and quarters. I've been picking up a few rolls of pennies this past week.

Do I keep the 1982 pennies for their copper content, or throw them back?

I know the 1981's and before are good to keep, but I am a little confused on when the change to Zincolns happened.

The idea is that just like a silver quarter that was worth a mere .25 and rode around in people's pockets in it's day, there might be a time when 1 cent is worth 15 to 20 times that based on it's copper content.

Lots of inflation and shortages due to a few decades of development in China and India would be contributors.
