I have no clue what this is. Anybody have a suggestion? The bottom feet are outstretched but it doesn't look the feet ever attached to anything. My buddy and I found it on a lot where a house used to be...it's under construction now and they're just moving the dirt around.

I was originally thinking along the lines of some sort of Wiccan piece (there's alot of that around the Northwest) but I think the calling card tray is probably way more likely. Neat piece, no matter what!

I guess we can date it by other examples... Victorian era (ish)... mid/late 1830s through early 1900s

I'm just wondering if it could really be that old. I think the area was built around the 1950's but my buddy thinks there was a farm before the neighborhood was built.
