LLK and Dad pick up a Susie B., Indian & some silver!
Well we had a nice weekend in Northeastern PA. LLK and I had two short hunts this weekend. Hunt one was at a nearby school, lots of "can slaw", assorted junk, pulltabs. LLK pulled out a 1979 Susan B Anthony dollar coin while searching around a groundhog hole! She told me she was not impressed with "dime trifecta's" she is going for the grand slam of dollar coins. (So far this year: 1 - Eisenhower, 1-Susan B. Anthony, 5-Canadian Loonies,1-Canadian Toonie) I told her it may take a few years to get all of the dollar coins, "I got time Dad, you just keep my detector battery charged" ! That's determination! We also found $5.13 in clad, a 1944 Mercury dime, a 1897 Indian Head Cent, 1944-P Silver war nickel, two wheat pennies, and a toy car. Hunt number two was a stop at work for me, told LLK we used to have some huge maple trees outside my office window, she went out for a few minutes and came back with a wheaty and a 1942 Washington Quarter! She is outside the window as I write this sifting gravel in the driveway trying to find emeralds! God, I love this kid!

That lil LLK is gonna grow up and be very famous, I am telling ya, someone upstairs has big plans for her.. she sure is something else and I can totally understand why you would be beaming from ear to ear.. what a great kid...
