I met Hollowpointred and his brother this morning at a park near me to do some MD'ing. Keith has wanted to hunt the place for a long time. It was the site of an old Salvation Army summer camp a long time ago. Today it's a bunch of softball fields, some rolling pic-nic grounds and a little bit of woods. Most of the grounds have been turned over. Nevertheless, as I told Keith, there have been a few old silver pieces, wheaties and Indian Heads come out of there in the past.
After a couple hours, Keith and his brother each had a couple wheaties and some clad and memorials. Keith found a neat little Liberty Bell replica. I had nothing. I was afraid I was gonna get shunked. Finally, I discovered a gully area behind 2 big trees. It looked like a spot where lovers had been parking over the years. There I finally found some coins and other things. Only one wheatie though, a 1952. I even found one of Keith's namesakes, a hollow point bullet.
Anyway, here's my finds for the morning. Maybe Keith can show his and his brother's.

even though the pickins were slim it was still good to get out. now if we could only find some spots that aren't hunted to death!
