Had a quick hunt before work today. Didnt have any awesome finds but did find a couple of pieces of cool local history. The first one was this 1926 dog license. First one i've ever found and im not super interested in keeping them but with this one being from 1926 I'll probably hang on to it.

The next one i think is pretty cool. Its a Richmond-Petersburg Turnpike transit token. This particular one is for 10 cents and as far as I can tell was used in the lates 50's and early 60's right after the turnpike opened.

That's a neat old dog tag! Great shape, too! I like the token as well!

Very nice old dog tag and token VA. Those dog tags are collectible. I keep all that I find, and I have found so many that I made the shape of a dog with them in my display case.
