FREE acorns?
Well they're free to me also, but I'm the one who Imports them from other areas. Oaks don't normally grow here, but in recent years folks have begun to landscape with them to this once barren front range high plains grassland and nourished by water from the snowpack of the Rock Mountains. The transformation of what was natural to this land around me has gone from pretty much desert to large tracks of brand new homes with green yards and golf courses. Still there's a lot of natual high and dry opensace left. The squirrels have really enjoyed what we have done here with all the new trees that have been planted.
