Looking for a new Vaquero coil

Just looking for input on the coils for the Vaq. Looking at getting the 10" elliptical. Has anyone used the 18"x3" clean sweep? I only have the stock coil and I'm new to the detector.

The elliptical coil is great.I don't know if you are used to DD coils or not,but they do not pinpoint like the stock concentric.If you really like metal detecting,it is nice to have different coils for different jobs.Like the cleansweep will be good for large open areas,to cover the ground fast.Small coils for trash etc.If you have materialized ground you for sure need a DD coil.Have fun with the vaq,it is a awesome detector. :-D

Thanks Guys! Yeah I prefer the DD coil but didn't seem to care for the 12x10" I got with the Outlaw. I was wondering how they compare with the one I have. I'm headed south for a few days so I'll try out some more swing time with the DD on the Outlaw (didn't use it much) but I know the Vaq is not an Outlaw. Really thinking I would like that clean sweep for some reason. Good link Sandman. Thanks again guys.
