Looking for Public Areas in AL

[A.J.]

Hello, I am relatively new to the hobby and I am looking for good public locations to metal detect in AL. I have read of some Ghost Towns in AL, but I have not been able to find a quick way to determine if the areas are public. Any advice is appreciated.
