I had a turkey buzzard sitting 10' over my head in my tree the other day. Does that count? Hope your eagles do well this year. Around here they're getting to be as pesky as crows! It's really nice after all these years to see them come back so strong.

I'm seeing a little increase of eagle sightings around home. Hopefully they've discovered prairie dogs are tasty. I did once watch an eagle go after a coot at the lake. It took the eagle three or four attempts to land that coot as it kept ducking under water. That eagle would keep circling the area it thought the coot would surface and finally it nailed that little coot.

I've done forestry work in my younger years and know all to well just how dangerous tree climbing is.
Doing it for those reasons with the unpredictable aspect of the adult eagles.
Buy that guy a lemonade for me!
Thank you for sharing this.
I've never seen an eagle in nature before.

Curt is Special Forces and knows his ropes,no pun intended.:laughing7: Both male and female will circle overhead but that's as close as they come.

As many times as I've seen them in the last 3 years it's like the first time I ever saw one such a Majestic creature, another testimony of The CREATOR!
