Digging through things I havenā€™t looked at in years. These are a few of the older, if not valuable, coins I have. Acquired them through my grandmother, in the early 1960ā€™s, when I was a kid. The box also had a lot of early 20th century Canadian, Korean, Japanese, etc. These are: British North Borneo 1888, 1856 French 5 centimes and a 1895 Hungarian 2KB. Not coins most kids in 1960ā€™s Iowa were lucky enough to have. These were the gifts that interested me in coin collecting at an early age, and eventually (1970) to metal detecting. Though I would share.

That mirrors my history of coin collecting and getting into metal detecting in 1970 also. Are you my long lost twin? :laughing7:
