I was hoping the pictures would be detailed enough for a possible ID on the slug. The rings seem like it might be civil war era, but the patina is different than other Minie balls I've unearthed. Any assistance is greatly appreciated as the owner of the permission wants all the finds.
This was found on a 1926 permission in an area where I've found Minie balls, but most relics in these yards rarely date pre 1900. Thanks in advance for the help and HH.
