A quick prayer went out today as part way through my hunt with JF I discovered my pin pointer was not in my pouch holder. I re-traced my steps once and nothing to be found. JF was looking as well and thought it would be all too easy to loose in all the leaves on the ground. JF headed back to his car and I made another pass along my hunt route and made it around to the last target dug and there I spotted the orange Garret carrot, partially covered in leaves. Thank God for a $100+ recovery today.
Later in the afternoon I searched the woods along the river and followed a path that led to a bank washout that was filled with stones and sand. I scanned the area and recovered about 10 wheats that dated from the teens to the forties; the one from the teens looks like it had been in the river a long time, very smooth. I also found what first looked like a button but it turns out it is a Liberty Boy Salesman achievement pin; here it is with an intact specimen for comparison.

Headed over to an elementary school to fill up my clad for the day and got a deep target that is pretty toasted, a 25 cent no trade token; it's not too readable but I think you can make out the 25 cent mark on the obverse and "NO TRADE" on the reverse.

At our first site, near Hall's Spring, JF snagged the only true relic of the day, a flat button, so congrats on the oldest find of the day, my friend!
