Hey all,

My first original post here... been checking out your posts for a while, figured it was time I added something.

Went out today to two different sites with the fellas (we're a bunch of newbs). The bottom part of the pic is from the first site, top is from the second. Didn't know what to expect from the first site, but we started to find a wheaties and got excited, then popped out a 1949 dime... boom! Towards the end the earring was pulled. Second site was a quick trip, this is a construction site that is well littered with gear/materials. Found a few wheaties and an old broken toy army truck.

Overall, very pleased. Have unlimited access to the first site, so hopefully will be pulling more silver.

Indeed, I'm a wheat fan! Coolest part of the first trip, a guy stopped by and asked if we'd locate an old pipeline on his property. He said, "this place has been around since the 1800's, you're free to dig up whatever you want." An invitation to prospect, how cool is that?!?!?! Hopefully I'll have something good to report on that dig :icon_thumleft:

Can't wait to hit that spot again next weekend. John and I had some good luck last weekend and that house with the pipeline looks promising!

I also found a tag similar to yours that's says "JP". Its a rose tag. It says "Grown in California, Jackson and Perkins Roses". haha
